As a jack-of-all-trades bioengineer immersed in a world of high-tech engineers and scientists, I've relied on curiosity and intuition to get up to speed quickly on unfamiliar technologies and go deeper on familiar ones.

After registering as a patent agent, I wrote my first patent application in law school for my own client and later prosecuted it to allowance as an attorney. Outside patent practice, I built an education business where I've had thousands of conversations with people trying to meet a high-stakes goal.

Together, these experiences have trained me to listen for the most relevant concerns, explain difficult concepts, and communicate with inventors and decision makers.

When I assess your matters, I draw on my history of advising established companies, startups, and individual clients, serving as both outside and in-house counsel, and speaking with examiners looking to be convinced that the claims are allowable.
